Accounting Clerk

Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned, self-motivated accounting clerk to handle routine clerical tasks. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a customer service mindset. The ideal candidate should have experience with QuickBooks, as well as working knowledge of banking portals, credit card processes, and customer billing portals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve technician timesheets.
• Generate and send invoices to customers.
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding outstanding balances and account issues.
• Record and process incoming payments by check, ACH and electronic payments.
• Post vendor bills and credit card transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Work both individually and in a team-oriented environment.
• Absorb and retain information quickly.
• Demonstrate client sensitivity and empathy.
• Exhibit excellent time management skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience with QuickBooks & QuickBooks online.
• Compassionate listener with a focus on solutions.
• Team player with a high level of dedication and cooperation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Basic understanding of IT and technical concepts.
