Biomedical Engineering Internship - Summer 2025

Location: Solana Beach, CA (onsite) - must be local to San Diego

Dates: June 16th - September 19th (14 Weeks)

Flexible to work part-time during the academic year with potential to convert to permanent position upon completion of the internship. Possibility to start internship before academic summer break, if desired.

Description

A well-funded medical device startup is seeking a highly motivated student to participate in product development and research programs to support a novel cardiovascular radiofrequency (RF) system (single-use disposables and capital equipment).

Qualifications

Authorized to work in US without sponsorship
Enrolled in Accredited Engineering Degree or Graduate Program (BS, MS, MD or PhD)
Preferred Majors: Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Experience in Test Method Development, including Electrical and Mechanical design, is a plus
Experience with Python, Microsoft Excel, and/or Minitab is a plus.
Prior experience with cardiovascular medical devices is a plus.
