Job Title: CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver

Pay: $25 - $26 per hour

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 5:00 pm

Sign On Bonus: $1,500

Drivers average 50 hours per week and have the potential to earn $67,000 plus per year!

Description of responsibilities:

• Deliver cement and masonry supplies to residential and commercial customers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
• Load/unload material using forklift.
• Conduct pre, during, and post trip inspections according to FMSCA guidelines.
• Strap and tarp loads.
• Ensure all shipping credentials are correct with quantity and product.
• Work with dispatch for loads, destinations, confirmations, etc.
• Maintain and protect company property.
• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
• Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

Required experience and skills:

• Must have a current valid Class A CDL issued by only one state of jurisdiction.
• 2+ years' commercial driving experience required.
• No DWI/DUI in last 5 years
• No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years
• Must be at least 21 years' old.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to do the job (including being able to read traffic signs, complete forms, and converse with enforcement officers
• Must be able to safely operate the motor vehicle he/she will be driving.
• Must be physically qualified to operate the vehicle in accordance with Sec. 391.41.
• Must provide a list of violations as required by Sec. 391.27.
• Must successfully complete a road test.
• Experience driving a standard tractor-trailer, hauling flatbed and forklift experience
• Must have current HAZMAT endorsement or be willing to obtain it within 90 days of hire date.
• Experience strapping and tarping loads.
• Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen
