Job Title:

As a Clinical Educator Specialist, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing educational activities to meet the identified learning needs of nursing personnel. Your expertise will be crucial in planning, coordinating, and evaluating orientation programs for new nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain consistency with administrative and departmental policies by demonstrating appropriate behavior, dress, attitude, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability.
">
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards as promulgated by local, state, and federal agencies, regulatory entities, and hospital requirements.
">
• Plan and implement educational activities using adult education principles to promote professional development among healthcare professionals.
">
• Develop and utilize an effective evaluative system to determine the effectiveness of educational activities.
">
• Promote collaborative relationships among healthcare professionals through participation in committees, task forces, meetings, and activities.
">
• Participate in ongoing assessment and evaluation of expected performance levels that integrate knowledge, skills, ability, and judgment.
">
• Design educational activities to address practice gaps for identified target audiences, including licensed and non-licensed healthcare personnel.
">
• Participate in research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement educational activities and projects.
">
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

">
• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
">
• BSN degree preferred.
">

Experience

">
• Minimum of three years clinical RN experience required.
">
• Clinical educator or nursing instructor experience preferred.
">

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

">
• Current Texas State RN License.
">
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.
">
• ACLS preferred.
">

Work Schedule:

5 days - 8 hours.

Full-time.
