Position: Dishwasher

Location: Blue Ash, OH

Reports To: Kitchen Manager, Parks & Rec

Status: Full-Time & Part-Time (Non-Exempt - Hourly)

Compensation Range: $15.50 per hour

Position Summary: The Dish position plays a crucial role in maintaining the heart of our kitchen operations. They ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen equipment, tools, and spaces while supporting overall kitchen efficiency. They will be an avid MadTree ambassador who lives the behaviors Connect, Grow, and Give a F*ck.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain our industrial dish machine efficiently.
  • Clean and sanitize all dishware, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and additional items as assigned.
  • Maintain organized dish areas and storage systems.
  • Support kitchen prep tasks as needed.
  • Monitor chemical levels and cleaning supply inventory.
  • Follow proper chemical safety procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dish pit and surrounding areas.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles.
  • Support kitchen team during peak service periods.
  • Monitor equipment operation and report maintenance needs.
  • Practice proper safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Execute opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Participate in training and knowledge development programs.
  • Be ready and willing to help with other kitchen duties as needed.
  • Spend up to 16 hours per year volunteering (paid) for MadTree Impact initiatives with excitement, encouraging your teammates to do the same.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties, accountabilities, and responsibilities satisfactorily.   • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous dish experience preferred.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
