General Surgeon Opportunity

Saint Francis, a Level III Trauma Center serving a patient population of 720,000, is seeking General Surgeons to join our esteemed Medical Partners and take over an established referral base.

Common Treatments Include:

• Appendectomy
• Breast Care
• Colon & Small Bowel Surgery
• Endocrine Surgery
• Gallbladder
• Gastrointestinal Surgery
• Hernia Repair
• Rectal Surgery
• Splenectomy
• Surgical Oncology
• Vascular Access Surgery

Benefits:

• $615K base salary or greater for the first two years, transitioning to pure productivity starting in year three
• APP monthly collaboration stipend 
• $50,000 signing bonus or a monthly stipend option for residents

Requirements:

Medical Partners uphold the highest standards of professional excellence and are expected to meet the following criteria:

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Surgery (Trauma Fellowship preferred)
• Missouri physician license or ability to obtain upon credentialing
• Active Missouri DEA registration or ability to obtain upon credentialing
• BLS certification or ability to obtain upon credentialing

Responsibilities:

• Call coverage: 1:5 at one hospital
• Flexible Clinic/OR schedule
• Clinic attached to the hospital
• Access to two da Vinci Xi® robotic systems
• Dedicated surgical team with first assistants and OR rooms
• 24/7 support from Trauma APPs
• Strong Hospitalist and Intensivist teams with a 20-bed open floor ICU
• EMR: EPIC
