Description:
An Events Assistant at XTalk Prep is responsible for providing support in the planning and execution of various corporate events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and networking events. This role involves collaborating closely with the Events Coordinator and other team members to ensure that events are executed seamlessly and meet our company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation.
• Assist with the creation and distribution of event materials, such as invitations, agendas, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate event registrations, attendee lists, and RSVPs.
• Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and breakdown.
• Assist with post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, analyzing event metrics, and compiling reports.
• Maintain event databases, records, and documentation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is desirable.
