Responsibilities: - Provide birthday party guests with an exceptional experience by being their main point of contact during their party time, making their visit memorable and keeping them happy
- Clean, prepare and properly set up party room
- Greet the party hosts and guests
- Retrieve the pre-ordered pizzas and sodas, refill sodas and get skates
- Maintain regular contact during party
- Assist guests with vacating the party room, help collect gifts and personal items
- Inventory and restock the party supplies as needed
- Help at Guest Service front desk
- If you know how to skate, candidate might also perform the Skate Monitor role as described in Skate Monitor role
- This is a Weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) only job
Required Experience & Qualifications: - Strong verbal communication skills to support customer experience and engagement
- Organized and detail-oriented, resourceful, quick learner
- A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first
- Must like interacting with children, be enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable speaking with parents
- Must be available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during scheduled party hours
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience & Qualifications: - Experience with youth sports at the recreational and elite level
- Understanding of hockey and figure skating
- Understanding of event and on-ice programming
- Passion for hospitality and customer service
- Current Food Handler's Permit
Working Conditions: - Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Weekends, nights, and holidays required.
- Position is performed throughout a recreational facility. Work will be done around the ice. Position involves sitting, standing, walking, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
- Part-time hourly role.
- Position available for individuals 16+
Total Rewards Package: Compensation: - In accordance with Washington's Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the starting pay rate for this position is $18.69. Actual pay will depend on employee's experience and other job-related factors permitted by law
