Legal Operations Manager Atlanta, GA (on site) Join our dynamic company with this legal operations manager role within our Law Department. We are looking for an energetic, team player with a expertise in legal operations, accounting, finance and project management . This role will report to Vice President, Legal Operations. The Legal Operations Manager works with a global team of collegial attorneys, compliance professionals, and the legal operations group to manage operational and strategic approaches to ensure business success. This person will possess expert finance, accounting and analytical skills. The role will play an important part in managing and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, primarily in the department’s financial processes and systems, but will also be able to have a wider impact throughout the global law department. This position requires driving the development and implementation of world class law department operations. A qualified candidate will be a self-starter with executive presence who demonstrates the internal drive necessary to create, validate and manage multiple processes within a tight timeline.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Develop and implement efficient legal processes and workflows to enhance departmental productivity. Manage the legal department budget, monitoring expenses, facilitating payment of invoices, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Generate regular financial reports, providing detailed analysis of budget variances and resource allocation to support strategic decision-making by legal leadership and key stakeholders. Work closely with finance and accounting teams to align legal processes with overall corporate strategies. Evaluate, implement, and manage legal technology solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to streamline legal operations globally. Help oversee relationships with external legal service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of services. Design and deliver training programs for legal staff on new technologies, processes, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with other departments, including finance, IT, and HR, to ensure alignment of legal operations with overall business goals. Assist Law Vice President as necessary with work assignments.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

8+ years’ experience in legal operations or similar role required in a corporate setting. Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance, or related field; MBA preferred. Proven experience in legal operations management within a global technology company. Strong understanding of legal processes, technology solutions, and data management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills. Expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting principles. Ability to work effectively across organizational and functional lines. Proficiency in legal technology tools and platforms.
