Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will utilize your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
• Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.
• Manage work orders within a CMMS.
• Possess electrical knowledge of basic components.
• Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
• Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.

• PLC troubleshooting.
• Conveyor maintenance.
• Preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance in electrical, hydraulics, and repair.

• 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience with blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
• 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
• 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment systems.
• 1+ year of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Work Environment

You will work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed, automated equipment, mostly with robotic components. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and lift up to 49 lbs at a time. Performance will be tracked by data and numbers to ensure expectations are met, though micromanagement is not employed. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift as positions are available for all shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Beaumont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
