Job Description Job Description JOB PURPOSE The candidate will be responsible for production scheduling of products through manufacturing flow. . MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Plan assigned production flow. Monitor status of and resolve problems with material flow. Release material and work orders to production groups per established schedules. 2. Execute the preparation of production schedules and detailed machine loading to comply with delivery schedules. 3. Coordinate with Production supervisor, sales and logistics personnel to alleviate conditions, which negatively affect scheduled deliveries. 4. Work closely with production to find improvement areas in planning and production flow. 5. Use company systems to drive overall planning and customer service improvements. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Material Planning, Purchasing, Overseas sourcing, Logistics, Production Planning EXPERIENCE Three to five years related experience in a manufacturing environment. EDUCATION Bachelors degree in business related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. LICENCES & CERTIFICATES APICS certification a plus. OTHER INFORMATION Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, inventory control systems. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs., walk and reach. Requires manual dexterity, visual and audio ability, and the ability to sit for extended periods of time. There may be occasional exposure to unpleasant conditions such as dust, lubricants, or seasonally unpleasant work conditions.
