Job Title: Process Operator

Job Description

Embark on a rewarding journey as a Process Operator in the dynamic field of Ethanol production. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of the facility, which supplies high-quality Ethanol to prominent gas stations within a 40-120 mile radius. Your daily activities will involve a blend of technical and operational tasks, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment such as conveyors, forklifts, pumps, and valves.
• Safely unload materials using a sit-down gas-powered forklift.
• Monitor and check the temperatures of bearings.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety.
• Utilize the Distributed Control System (DCS) to oversee and manage production tasks.
• Enter data using Microsoft Word and Excel for accurate record-keeping.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chemical Operator.
• 5+ years of safety experience (OSHA standards).
• 3-5 years of experience in LOTO procedures.
• 3+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency in chemical handling, compounding, batch making, and fermentation processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operations (1+ year).
• Proficiency in operating boilers (1-2 years).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, with familiarity in navigating Excel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
