Job Description

You will be part of an exciting ecosystem, participating with federal employees and other contractors, in a team-based DevOps approach to deliver mission value cost-effectively and responsively, and collaboratively with other companies to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints. You will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.

A qualified candidate must have or be able to attain a Public Trust clearance. FDA experience and/or an existing Public Trust clearance is ideal.

Skills/ Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with REACT frameworks, Spring / Spring Boot, Java, Javascript, RHEL OS, WebLogic, Oracle database/SQL
  • React experience with various UX frameworks like Material or SemanticUI
  • Strong CSS and HTML are a must. Responsive design patterns and 508-compliant sites
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Testing frameworks such as Jest, Mockito, Lombok and Junit.
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with Oracle DB
  • Experience with AWS Cloud
  • Experience with Test Automation tools for unit testing
  • Extensive hands-on experience with the full software development cycle and methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps frameworks such as Jenkins and Containers
  • Experience with various software design patterns
  • Experience with FDA or Federal Government
  • Proficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
  • Proficiency with Agile management tools such as the Atlassian suite
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, at minimum
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong ability to develop design artifacts and present solutions to the customer
  • Able to develop, manage, and maintain Software Development Life Cycle artifacts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience supporting Agile projects.
  • Experience with AWS cloud SDK, Python and Apache servers is a plus.  

Education

  • Typically requires BS degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience or Masters’ with 3 years of prior relevant experience
