The Scrum Master – III plays a critical role in fostering Agile practices across one or more cross-functional teams. This individual acts as a coach, facilitator, and servant-leader, ensuring the successful execution of Agile ceremonies, removal of impediments, and alignment with strategic product goals. This role contributes to high-performing team dynamics and continuous improvement while supporting delivery of sprint goals and PI objectives. Key Responsibilities Plan, lead, organize, and coach cross-functional teams in Agile methodologies Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Remove impediments and shield the team from outside interference to ensure sprint and PI goal delivery Foster team collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement Act as the communication liaison between Product Owners, Managers, and development teams Support short and long-term release planning with Product Owners Coordinate deployment activities in partnership with program and release managers Track and communicate Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down, cycle time) to promote visibility and improvement Support Scrum of Scrums coordination to manage inter-team dependencies Coach teams on user story sizing, acceptance criteria, and Agile best practices Drive cross-functional initiatives of medium to complex scope Act as a change agent within the team and broader organization Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 5 years of IT work experience with at least 1 year of direct Scrum execution in a development setting Knowledge of multiple Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Scaled Agile) Understanding of iterative and incremental development principles Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence Strong leadership, facilitation, and team collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification Experience managing or working with cross-team dependencies and large-scale Agile environments Prior experience as a coach or mentor for Agile team practices #J-18808-Ljbffr Compunnel, Inc.
