Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) Sector is seeking a Sr Principal Cost Analyst to join our growing team of qualified individuals to support the Advanced Weapons (AW) Business Unit either on-site in Northridge, California or full time onsite at a NG location. The position requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
In this role, the Cost Analyst position is a unique specialty opportunity to work closely with all technical aspects and requirements of the program, linking technical solution to the cost solution. They are responsible for Life Cycle Cost (LCC) model development and maturation, working with various Engineering, PMOs, and Integration IPT for Advanced Weapons and Systems providing detailed cost estimates. They will lead trade studies, supporting technology development and risk assessments, enhancing affordability opportunities, as well as assisting business case and contract capture activities. The position requires an understanding of at least two of the following analyses: Cost-Effectiveness, Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Cost As an Independent Variable (CAIV), Design to Cost (DTC), and Cost Reduction Initiatives (CRI).
Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $170,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
