The Wound, Burn, and Ostomy Physician provides specialized medical care for patients with complex wounds, burns, and ostomy needs at Erie County Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center and regional burn care facility. This role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, primary care providers, and critical care specialists to deliver comprehensive treatment. The position requires board certification in Surgery, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and involves working in advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy settings.
Erie County Medical Center Corp is an advanced medical center located in Buffalo, NY providing coverage for the eight (8) counties of Western New York, Southern Ontario and Northern PA. ECMCC is verified by ACOS and NYSDOH as a Level 1 Trauma Center with 573 inpatient beds. ECMCC is also the regional center for burn care and transplantation. ECMCC has a robust OP Wound Care and Hyperbaeric Oxygen Therapy Center on location.
ECMCC seeks an experienced candidate to join a team composed of board-certified general and vascular surgeons, APP's, and a strong support staff.
