Construction Laborer


Entry-Level | Full-Time (40 hours/week guaranteed) | No Seasonal Layoffs

Swartz Restoration & Emergency Services, a locally owned restoration and emergency services contractor, is looking for dependable, hands-on individuals to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with construction tasks: framing, drywall, painting, flooring, demolition, etc.
• Respond to emergency calls (board-ups, roof tarps, securing damaged properties)
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Load and unload tools, materials, and job site equipment
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Follow instructions from crew leads and project managers
• Take photos to document job site damage and progress
• Wear PPE and follow all safety guidelines
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or restoration (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Live within 30 miles of the Swartz Restoration office in Lima, OH
• Willing to participate in rotating On-Call schedule
• Able to lift up to 75-100 lbs.
• Professional appearance/attitude, and a willingness to learn
