Position Details Instructional Coach – Part‑time Department: Learning Centers Salary: $30/hr This position reports to the Assistant Director of Training and Professional Development. The instructional coach provides support with observations and debriefs of peer leaders in the Learning Centers, particularly evenings and weekends; schedules and conducts observations; completes observation reports; supports the Learning Specialist with debriefs; and performs other duties as assigned. Feedback is provided through observation reports to support peer leaders in their training and professional development. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: good communication and interpersonal skills and computer literacy; ability to create objective reports and provide feedback; teaching or learning assistance experience. Preferred Qualifications: background or experience in conducting observations of teachers, instructors, and peer leaders (e.g., tutors, learning assistants) in a higher education classroom setting; background in mentoring. Physical Demands and Work Environment: ability to travel to different locations across campus.
