Her work has been featured in magazines and her projects have received accolades by the Southern California Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects for excellence in design. Annemarie excels in the close collaboration with her clients to create memorable and timeless landscape spaces.

Annemarie received her Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.

Annemarie Hall the Artist:

Annemarie also received her Bachelor of Fine Art at the University of Guelph. There, she studied acrylics, drawing, sculpture and printmaking. Recently, Ms. Hall discovered the beauty and depth of color offered by painting in oils. For the past few years, she has been exploring the urban and pastoral landscapes of southern California and rural Canada, en Plein Aire. A recent visit to France also provided a fresh “canvas” to explore the light and color of the Provencal landscape.

With a desire to reconnect the viewer’s attention with ordinary moments of life, many scenes include views of pastoral landmarks as seen juxtaposed against their urban edges. In addition, many views are “snapshot” taken from a larger landscape to focus attention on the simple details of a doorway, tower, or arch. Ms. Hall paints with quick bold brush strokes and thick saturated colors.

Annemarie exhibits frequently with the Southern California Plein Air Painters Association (SOCALPAPA) at different venues throughout Southern California. She is currently represented by McKibben Studios in Laguna Beach. She is also an active member of the San Clemente Art Association.
